Comprehensive Pedagogical Support Program for Network Schools | |
Schools joining the Morasha network become members of a comprehensive system of pedagogical support, designed to bring about advanced activities in the field of Jewish education. The support is provided through training programs for various school staff positions, intense coaching for the school leadership, teacher in-service training and the fostering of school initiatives. Morasha school study programs provide a response at the various levels of school life to create a comprehensive Jewish school experience.
§ School principals training for the advancement of Jewish education at school, a joint program for principals of State General and State Religious schools
§ Morasha school leadership training in leading Jewish educational programs in school for teachers and other staff members, a joint program for staff members of State General and State Religious schools
§ School mentor training to lead school development in Jewish education
§ Renewal - The Hebrew calendar Program structurally integrates the Jewish annual life cycle in school life
§ Learning and Teaching provides in-service teacher training for the consolidation of a Jewish educational vision, and provides tools for its implementation in the teacher’s role and work.
§ Songs and Sources incorporates the Piyut tradition in school life. The program is supported by in-service training for music teachers and other involved staff.
§ Hevruta integrates Beit Midrash study methods in school. The program is supported by in-service teacher training.
§ “KESHER” cultivates the school as a socially responsible community and emphasizes the social values of Judaism. The program includes in-service training for school advisors and school coordinators of social-values education.
§ Curriculum Development: Writing, producing and distributing unique study programs for State General and State Religious schools that highlight their shared educational domains
